Lunar Melody
Debutant cost 500,000 at the breeze-ups and makes an interesting appearance here against colts and fillies.
Gets 8lb from the favourite Hardy’s Hero who won last time out shaping well at Haydock.
But this Richard Fahey-trained filly has a lot of promise behind her including a Group 1 entry and of course owned by Wathnan.
Ice Sovereigns
Course and distance winner last time out and this filly is well-equipped to go strongly again for Charlie Johnston, this time under Jason Hart.
Won by five lengths when 4/6 favourite but was impressive on the good ground which she gets again today.
Flying Comet
It’s Monday which means Windsor holds an evening meeting starting from 4.30pm.
Kicking things off this week with a Class 4 Nursery Handicap containing nine runners.
Flying Comet ridden by Oisin Murphy trained by Simon & Ed Crisford looks ideal too.
Not as prominent or closely placed last time out but that was on soft ground in France so is very interesting now back on home soil.
Likealot
Rossa Ryan is on board this Ralph Beckett-trained horse – a grey filly by Camelot.
Placed third behind Bowerchalke at Chelmsford then second behind Bowerchalke at Southwell and now makes just her second appearance on the turf.
Was a good seven lengths off of the winner at Newbury but it was a listed race and her debut win still shows plenty of ability in the way she won.
She’s got to find the winning combination at some point and is upped half a furlong where it can also help her progress.
