Dubai is preparing to illuminate the entire emirate with vibrant, citywide festivities as the 54th Eid Al Etihad approaches, marking the UAE’s historic union with a renewed spirit of pride, unity, and cultural brilliance. From 1 to 3 December 2025, residents and visitors will experience an expansive, revitalised programme that blends tradition with innovation—offering extraordinary entertainment, heritage showcases, culinary experiences, shopping promotions, and all-new attractions introduced exclusively for this year.
With a powerful mix of returning favourites and first-time features, the 54th Eid Al Etihad weekend is set to transform Dubai into one of the most exciting celebration destinations in the region.
Community Celebration Across the City
A flagship highlight of the festivities will be the annual Eid Al Etihad Parade at City Walk on 1 December at 4pm. More than a thousand participants from community groups, youth organisations, and government teams will join forces to create a vibrant, unified display honouring the UAE’s enduring spirit of togetherness.
Fireworks That Light Up the Emirate
Dubai’s skyline will ignite with breathtaking fireworks on 2 December. Spectacular shows will begin at Dubai Festival City Mall and Hatta at 8pm, followed by displays at Souk Al Seef, Bluewaters, and The Beach, JBR at 9pm. Meanwhile, Global Village will present daily fireworks paired with synchronised drone shows from 1 to 3 December, offering a multi-sensory spectacle for families and visitors.

A major public concert will take place on 2 December at Festival Bay in Dubai Festival City Mall, following an 8pm fireworks display. More than 20 locations across Dubai will offer traditional cultural experiences, including Al Ayala, Yola, Liwa, and other Emirati heritage performances. Hatta will once again transform into one of the most atmospheric destinations for Eid Al Etihad. Enhanced fireworks, illuminated streets, folk performances, and nature-immersed celebrations will light up the mountainous region at 8pm, creating a uniquely scenic celebration beneath the stars.

From 1 to 3 December, shoppers will enjoy exclusive Eid Al Etihad offers across Dubai’s leading retail destinations. Major malls will feature themed décor, family entertainment, interactive installations, and free-to-attend experiences designed to amplify the celebratory spirit.
Dubai Festival City Mall will offer double BLUE loyalty points from 28 November to 2 December for selected spending, along with a lively food market at The Bay by Social. Visitors can enjoy carnival games, axe-throwing, art installations, cultural workshops, comedy evenings, and curated food experiences.
City Centre Mirdif will celebrate with a week-long programme featuring fashion showcases, pottery, bag-customisation workshops, cultural performances, and creative sessions like Beads of Serenity, Threads of Tradition, and Heritage Knots—highlighting UAE heritage through hands-on participation.
Ibn Battuta Mall will host “Expressions with Art,” an immersive cultural programme combining live music, poetry, digital art zones, and family workshops to celebrate national identity through creativity.

Global Village will offer one of the richest schedules of the season with cultural installations, live performances, an operetta titled From The Desert To The Stars, nightly drones and fireworks from 1 to 3 December, and a special concert on 1 December.

Dubai’s celebration of Eid Al Etihad expands beyond culture and entertainment into sports and active recreation. The Baseball United Season One will run from 14 November to 14 December at The Sevens Stadium, attracting global talent and sports fans.
The Sir Winston Churchill Cup will take place from 3 to 6 December at Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club, adding equestrian excitement to the long weekend. Meanwhile, the legendary 1000 Miglia classic car rally will bring more than 120 historic vehicles through Dubai’s most iconic landscapes between 30 November and 4 December.
Citywide Culinary Experiences
Dubai’s culinary scene will introduce Dubai Burger, a special Eid Al Etihad edition featuring limited-edition burgers inspired by Emirati flavours. Top eateries across the city will craft unique creations blending local ingredients with modern twists, celebrating the UAE’s food heritage in a contemporary and flavourful way.

A large-scale student art competition from 20 November to 3 December invites schools to showcase creativity inspired by the theme “Proud to Belong – Celebrating Our Union, Heritage, and Future.” Students can submit murals, artwork, short videos, poetry, or essays through school Instagram accounts using the event hashtag. The competition aims to encourage young artists to reflect on national values through storytelling and visual expression.
