‘Evil Dead Burn’ Officially Lands Digital Streaming Release Date

Evil Dead Burn opened in theaters on Jul. 10, 2026, and earned $13.7 million in its opening weekend. The movie has earned a respectable 71% on Rotten Tomatoes, though its score is lower than the 85% score that 2023’s Evil Dead Rise garnered. With a $29.3 million domestic total and $63.5 million worldwide gross, Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema are set to release Evil Dead Burn on digital media platforms after less than a month in theaters.

Dread Central reports that Evil Dead Burn will be available on Premium Digital in the U.S. and Canada on August 4. The movie will be available for purchase on physical media in 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD editions starting on September 22. The home video release for Evil Dead Burn will come with new behind-the-scenes featurettes, which include:

Evil Dead Burn arrives on digital platforms 25 days after its theatrical opening. Evil Dead Burn‘s digital release comes hot on the heels of news that the film would get themed mazes centered on it for Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando and Hollywood. There is still no official word on when Evil Dead Burn will stream on HBO Max, the streaming service of the film’s distributors, Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema.

Directed by Sébastien Vaniček, Evil Dead Burn is a loose sequel to the events of Evil Dead Rise. The film follows Alice Price (Souheila Yacoub), a young woman who gathers with her in-laws at a secluded house following the death of her abusive husband. The movie stars Tandi Wright (Pearl), Hunter Doohan (Daredevil: Born Again), Luciane Buchanan (The Night Agent), Maude Davey (The Newsreader), Erroll Shand (Safe House), and George Pullar (It Only Takes One Night).

The Evil Dead franchise is far from over. Warner Bros. has slated Evil Dead Wrath for release on Apr. 7, 2028. Directed by Francis Galluppi, Evil Dead Wrath will be a prequel film to the original Evil Dead and take place in 1972. Despite Evil Dead Burn recouping its $20 million budget, Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema are likely hoping that releasing Evil Dead Wrath in April, the same month 2013’s Evil Dead and 2023’s Evil Dead Rise opened, will yield a stronger box-office result.
