The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) has secured the Silver award for Best Overseas Conference Centre at the prestigious M&IT Awards, celebrating its continued excellence in the international meetings and events sector. The award ceremony took place on Friday, 18 September, at Grosvenor House in London, recognising The CCD’s ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional event experiences and maintaining world-class standards.
Organised by Meetings & Incentive Travel (M&IT) magazine, the M&IT Awards are among the most respected honours in the global MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) industry. The awards recognise conference venues and event professionals that demonstrate outstanding service, innovation and operational excellence.
This latest achievement marks another significant milestone for The CCD, with the venue receiving its 15th M&IT Award. Over the years, The CCD has earned 11 Gold awards, along with Silver awards in 2011, 2017 and 2026, and a Bronze award in 2024. The recognition reflects the venue’s consistent performance and dedication to creating memorable experiences for international events and delegates.
Commenting on the win, Stephen Meehan, Chief Executive of The CCD said, “We are delighted to be recognised as Best Overseas Conference Centre Silver. This award reflects the commitment and passion of our entire team, who work tirelessly to deliver exceptional experiences for our clients. Being recognised by our clients and industry peers is an honour and motivates us to continue setting the highest standards for international events at The CCD.”

It’s fantastic to see our fellow Irish colleagues and organisations recognised alongside us. Their achievements strengthen Ireland’s reputation on the world stage and together, we continue to position Ireland as a leading destination for international meetings and conferences.”
