Meghan Markle is reportedly considering a return to acting, with the Duchess of Sussex said to be reading several scripts as she looks at what to do next in her career.
The former Suits actress, who recently moved back to the UK with Prince Harry and their two children, is understood to be putting her family and business commitments first.
However, acting could soon become part of her plans again, according to a source who spoke to The Telegraph.
The insider claimed Meghan has different priorities to her husband, who is expected to continue focusing on his charity work and public engagements.
The source said: “Her focus is on her family and children, followed by her business, followed by rebooting her acting career.
“Her public appearances will be relatively rare. She is reading a lot of scripts at the moment.”
It comes as Meghan prepares to make her first public appearance alongside Harry in the UK since the couple returned from America earlier this year.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are due to visit Nottingham on Thursday, October 15, where they will meet organisations working with young people and local communities.
Among the places they are expected to visit are the Community Recording Studio, Himmah Hub and Epic Partners.
The visit will be Meghan’s first public engagement in Britain since attending Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022.
Before marrying Harry in 2018, Meghan was best known for playing Rachel Zane in the American legal drama Suits.
There has already been speculation about whether she could return to television, including reports linking her to a possible role in Netflix’s The Gentlemen.
However, no new acting project has been officially confirmed.
The source also suggested that Meghan would make fewer public appearances than Harry as she concentrates on her children, lifestyle business and potential acting opportunities.
They said Harry’s main interests remain his philanthropic work and public service.
Although the couple’s upcoming Nottingham visit will involve community organisations, it will not be an official royal engagement.
Harry and Meghan stepped down as working members of the Royal Family in 2020 and have since pursued their own projects outside the monarchy.
For Meghan, the latest reports suggest acting could become a bigger part of her professional life again, although it remains unclear when or whether she will accept another role.
