President-elect Donald Trump has revealed his support for the H-1B visa program, telling the New York Post, “I have many H-1B visas on my properties. I’ve been a believer in H-1B.” His comments came after Elon Musk defended the program. Now, lawmakers are calling to reform the so-called lottery system. Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) has introduced a bipartisan bill to court foreign workers who provide “exceptional talent” instead of allowing foreigners to fill entry-level positions.
