Scott Jacoby, who was sixteen at the time, had previously held the honour. In 1973, the star’s performance in the drama film That Certain Summer, which was produced for television, earned him the Best Supporting Actor award. Roxana Zal, on the other hand, is the youngest actress to win an Emmy, having done so in 1984 at the tender age of 14.
She received the coveted award for Best Supporting Actress in a limited series or movie for Something About Amelia.

Owen Cooper went into more details about his victory in his acceptance speech, saying, “A couple of years back, I didn’t expect to be in the United States, let alone here. Tonight proves that if you listen, you focus, and you step out of your comfort zone, you can achieve anything in life. I was nothing three years ago. I’m here now. If you step out of your comfort zone, who cares if you get embarrassed? Anything can be possible.”
Owen Cooper’s heartfelt reflections on his role in the movie were not just a glimpse into the influence the series Adolescence had on him, but also on the numerous individuals the show impacted. The actor continued by expressing gratitude to Netflix, his parents, and the show’s producers.
“It may be my name on the wall, but it really belongs to the people behind the camera, ” he was quoted as saying.
