A Wells Fargo banker is reportedly back in the United States after being blocked from leaving China. The banker—Chen-yue Mao, an American citizen—was barred from travel earlier this year. Beijing accused her of being tied to a so-called “criminal case.” One source says Mao has already left China. Her release followed negotiations between United States and Chinese officials, just ahead of a scheduled call Friday between President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
