Bad Bunny ambushed by live band as Grammys host Trevor Noah pushes him to perform one week before Super Bowl

BAD Bunny has made an unexpected Grammys performance days after being ambushed by host Trevor Noah, one week before his highly anticipated Super Bowl Halftime show.

The Puerto Rican singer didn’t intend to perform during the 68th annual ceremony on Sunday night.

However, Trevor didn’t take no for an answer and pushed him numerous times to get up on stage.

“By the way, that was beautiful, first and foremost…” Trevor said to Bad Bunny, while seated beside him in the audience, in reference to him slamming ICE in his acceptance speech earlier in the night.

“It was really impactful. The only thing I felt that was missing was man, if this guy could perform some of that. I know you can’t contractually, I know you can’t,”

Bad Bunny, who is contractually banned from performing ahead of the Super Bowl, played along with the bit, even when Trevor called out a live band to encourage him to perform.

The host belted out one of his tracks, in hopes that the rapper would join in, which he eventually did.

Bad Bunny won his fourth Grammy Award, taking home Best Música Urbana Album, at the show.
