Buckingham Palace’s cheeky response to TV star’s video mocking Meghan | Royal | News

Buckingham Palace has been hailed for having the “best response ever” to Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo’s controversial video in which they appear to be mocking Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Jamie, 36, and Sophie, 30, who recently announced that they are expecting their first child, received a mixed response after uploading a video of them doing the ‘Baby Mama’ dance just weeks after Meghan uploaded the same thing to her Instagram account.

Earlier this month, Meghan, 43, uploaded a video of herself and Harry in hospital awaiting the birth of Princess Lilibet back in 2021. The pair decided to take on the viral ‘Baby Mama’ dance, which saw the then-heavily pregnant former actress “twerking”.

The couple, who wed in 2018, also have a now-six-year-old son named Prince Archie.

The video, posted on @meghan, was one of three videos which Meghan posted in honourof their daughter’s fourth birthday on June 4.

Within minutes of Jamie uploading his footage, purportedly shot inside Buckingham Palace, the official Instagram account, @theroyalfamily replied: “We see you” with a pair of eyes and a wink emojis.

Also seeing the hilarious video of Jamie and Sophie, The King’s Trust also entered the conversation, saying: ‘All of our attendees are very well behaved’ with the same look and a laughing emoji.

Clealy amused by the Palace’s restaurant, one fan of Jamie’s wrote: “best response ever! This really made me laugh.”

Another said: “Brilliant,” tagging the account to their reply.

Jamie captioned the post of them dancing: “They said we couldn’t film in Buckingham Palace…”

Commenting on Jamie and Sophie’s video, one fan wrote: “At least yours was classier.” A second said: “At least there was no twerking.”
