Earlier this month, a Chinese man living in California pleaded guilty to being an illegal foreign agent for Beijing—the news just broke on Oct. 21. He has extensive connections with an elected U.S. official and a convicted Chinese spy. The three are part of a broader scheme of Beijing’s infiltration.
