Ontario-based cybersecurity firm Feroot Security says its analysis found that DeepSeek may not only have the ability to send AI prompt data but even all web activity to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Feroot Security says it sees “direct links” to Chinese companies, such as China Mobile, a telecommunications firm banned from operating in the United States by the Federal Communications Commission in 2019.
