Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been praised for their “very good” new PR strategy as they seek to win over the public and Royal Family alike.

Since leaving the Firm in 2020, the Sussexes have been known to speak out against the rest of the family and expose the negative experiences they have endured since getting together in 2016.

However, it’s been suggested that they’re finally moving away from these attacks as they’ve realised it’s not making them any more popular and may ruin any chances of a future reconciliation with the royals.

A royal expert has claimed the couple wasted too much of their time trying to stay in the spotlight by insulting the Royal Family, but have finally realised this is not the right way to maintain their fame.

Royal author Hugo Vickers said Harry and Meghan came to the conclusion that they weren’t “getting anywhere” as the controversies were “causing so much trouble”.

He told the Sun: “They’ve realised that it wasn’t getting anywhere, because it was causing so much trouble.

“In order to earn a lot of money, they have to sometimes be controversial if you like, or [do] things which will keep themselves in the public eye.”

However, Vickers noted that the Sussexes are not getting the same “mileage” out of the negative stories about the Royal Family as they used to, forcing them to focus on more “positive” things.

He added that the emphasis is particularly on Harry as it’s up to him to make peace with the Royal Family and mend the four-year-long rift.

He said: “He’s [Harry] the one who needs to pull himself together and extend the olive branch because he is the one making it difficult between them.

“The most successful members of the Royal Family are the ones who support the King in what he’s doing, and they don’t compete with him.”

This comes as Harry and Meghan prepare for a 2025 filled with new projects and upcoming releases as part of their deal with streaming giant Netflix.

They have already released a documentary about polo and Meghan is expected to finally launch her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard alongside an accompanying Netflix show.
