Princess Hotels & Resorts Expands into Jamaica

Princess Hotels & Resorts made its grand debut in Jamaica with the opening of two all-inclusive properties: Princess Senses The Mangroves and Princess Grand Jamaica. Both resorts are located between Negril and Montego Bay, offering easy access to the surrounding attractions and the airport.

  • Princess Senses The Mangroves is an adults-only haven featuring 401 ocean suites, 14 overwater villas, Palladium Club Suites, 14 restaurants, 15 bars, and a luxurious spa.
  • Princess Grand Jamaica is perfect for families and larger groups, with 590 oceanview suites, family and master suites, three pools, nine restaurants, and eight bars.

Marriott Continues Global Growth

Marriott’s third-quarter results highlighted continued strong performance, with a pipeline of 3,800 properties and approximately 585,000 rooms in development. Over 220,000 rooms are currently under construction. Despite this growth, Marriott is implementing corporate restructuring, aiming to save $100 million, which could include workforce reductions.

By the end of the year, the Thompson Playa del Carmen Main House and Beach House will be rebranded as Hyatt Centric Playa del Carmen. Wyndham Rewards Expands Loyalty Options

Wyndham Rewards has introduced new features, allowing members to use loyalty points for more than just hotel stays. Through the new Wyndham Travel Packages platform, members can now book accommodations, flights, car rentals, transfers, and experiences, earning and redeeming points across a wide range of travel services.

Grand Hyatt Announces Major Global Expansion

Grand Hyatt is expanding its global footprint with plans to open 12 new properties by 2027. Upcoming additions include the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley in Utah, Grand Hyatt The Red Sea in Saudi Arabia, Grand Hyatt Jaipur in India, and Grand Hyatt St. Lucia, further strengthening the brand’s presence in key international destinations.

Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection Expands in the Dominican Republic

Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection is growing with the addition of Dreams Cap Cana Resort & Spa in the Dominican Republic, scheduled to open by the end of the year. The resort will feature more than 500 rooms, including villas and swim-up suites, as well as 10 restaurants, six bars, and an expansive spa.
