Trip.com has revealed a notable spike in hotel reservations as fans from across Asia and beyond rush to secure their stays for Lady Gaga’s upcoming Asia tour in Singapore. The pop sensation is set to perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium from May 18 to 24, marking the only Asian stop on her highly anticipated tour.
This surge in bookings underscores Singapore’s rising prominence as a major hub for event tourism, drawing visitors from all over the region. As the city-state gears up to host this global pop icon, its status as a sought-after destination for major entertainment events continues to strengthen, attracting fans eager to experience Lady Gaga’s unforgettable performances.
Trip.com has reported a dramatic rise in hotel bookings for the week of May 18 to 24, with reservations already tripling compared to the same week last year. This surge is also 76 percent higher than bookings for the week of May 25 to 31. The platform anticipates that bookings will continue to climb as more fans secure their concert tickets closer to the event.
Additionally, Trip.com has identified several key trends. The top international travelers are coming from countries like China, Malaysia, Japan, the Philippines, and South Korea. Furthermore, budget-conscious travelers are driving 38 percent of accommodation searches towards three-star and budget hotels, a notable increase compared to the 18 percent for the following week.
