Star Wars has been dormant on the big screen since The Rise of Skywalker, but Shawn Levy is joining forces with Ryan Gosling on what is slated to be the next film to hit theaters set in a galaxy far, far away. The highly anticipated film, which will follow a brand-new set of characters not from the Skywalker saga, may have found its villain actor.
According to Daniel Richtman, Jesse Plemons (Breaking Bad, The Power of the Dog) has been offered the role of a villain in Levy’s upcoming Star Wars film that currently does not have a title. As plot details remain scarce, it is unknown who the antagonist will be and if Plemons is in the running to play a well-known character or an entirely new one.
