Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has appeared in new photographs released as part of the Epstein files, with one in particular sending shockwaves. In one photograph released yesterday by the US Department of Justice, the former prince can be seen lying across the legs of five women.
In the photograph, which also has Jeffrey Epstein’s then girlfriend and now convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell in it, Andrew can be seen smiling and looking relaxed. While the photograph in itself, which is one of a few containing Andrew in the files, may have been shocking enough, new revelations are even more surprising.
This is because, as reported by various publications, this newly released photograph of Andrew was actually taken at Sandringham House – the monarch’s private Norfolk estate.
The Daily Mail reports that the photograph was taken in front of the fireplace in the saloon room – one of the Royal Family’s most treasured rooms at Sandringham House.
This is believed to be the room where the King hosts members of the Royal Family to watch his Christmas speech, and where the family spend quality time together, especially over the festive season.
The room, by the entrance hall to the property, is also historically significant as it leads to the room in the house where George V broadcast his first Christmas radio message in 1932.
The hidden door can be seen in the newly-released photograph of Andrew lying across the laps of the women, whose faces have not been shown.
The revelation of the room where the photograph was taken is likely to shock many and will probably displease the Royal Family, too, who enjoy Christmas festivities in almost the exact same spot.
It is still not clear when the photograph of Andrew was taken. There is no suggestion of wrongdoing by Andrew being in the photo.
