TrueNoord, a leading regional aircraft leasing company, has declared the hiring of four qualified personnel to the Amsterdam office, reinforcing the company’s operations. This deliberate expansion is intended to further enhance the firm’s ailing technical, transactional, and financial capabilities in the aviation ecosystem.
New Technical Experts Join TrueNoord
TrueNoord’s latest hires include two seasoned technical managers, Jonnathan Garzon and Jesus Cardenas, who bring with them a wealth of experience in aircraft maintenance and operations.
Jonnathan Garzon
Garzon joins TrueNoord as a technical manager, bringing over 13 years of experience in aviation consulting. His expertise spans technical records audits, aircraft phase-outs, and mid-term inspections. Garzon has worked with leading airlines, airports, and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) organizations, driving efficiency and ensuring compliance in various aviation operations. Prior to his role at TrueNoord, Garzon held positions at AerData B.V. (part of Boeing), Aircraft Digital Company, and Avianca in Colombia. His meticulous attention to detail and ability to optimize processes will enhance TrueNoord’s technical operations and support the company’s growth.
Jesus Cardenas
Also joining TrueNoord as a technical manager is Jesus Cardenas, an aeronautical engineer with over five years of experience in aircraft modification, maintenance, and operations. Cardenas brings a scientific approach to aviation engineering, having recently completed an MSc in Aerospace Engineering from TU Delft. He previously managed the airworthiness of regional aircraft operated by the Central Bank of Mexico. Cardenas’s strong background in operations research and systems engineering adds a valuable dimension to TrueNoord’s technical team, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of technical excellence.
Aviation Leasing Expertise with Emma Foudy
Emma Foudy joins TrueNoord as Transaction and Lease Manager. With more than six years in the aircraft leasing industry, Foudy brings valuable expertise in contract management and transaction execution. Prior to joining TrueNoord, she worked at AerCap and more recently at JLPS Ireland Limited as Senior Contract Manager. Foudy is skilled in managing lease agreements throughout their lifecycle and will work closely with the commercial, technical, and legal teams at TrueNoord. Her broad experience and strong understanding of aircraft leasing processes will help streamline transactions and enhance operational efficiency across TrueNoord’s global portfolio.
Nanne de Jong: Strengthening Financial Operations
Nanne de Jong has been appointed as Receivables Manager. With nearly 20 years of experience in financial services, including seven years at DVB Bank, De Jong brings significant expertise in aviation finance. Her skill set spans receivables management, accounts payable, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and regulatory documentation. Having worked extensively within the aviation sector, De Jong has developed a reputation for implementing process improvements and supporting commercial teams. Her role at TrueNoord will focus on financial operations and ensuring that the company’s financial processes remain efficient and compliant with industry regulations.
CEO’s Vision for TrueNoord’s Continued Growth
Anne-Bart Tieleman, CEO of TrueNoord, shared his thoughts on the new appointments, emphasizing the company’s rapid growth and the need to invest in people. “In the last year, TrueNoord has achieved significant milestones, including surpassing the 100 aircraft mark and securing credit ratings from Standard & Poor’s and Fitch. These achievements enabled us to access the US debt capital markets for the first time,” said Tieleman.
