As the nation marks the start of the holiday season, President Donald Trump used this year’s National Christmas Tree lighting to spotlight the National Guard, honoring two service members shot in the line of duty.
One of them, Sarah Beckstrom, later died from her injuries. The other, Andrew Wolfe, is in the hospital. Earlier that day, Trump met with the family of Andrew Wolfe at the White House. In a post on X, Trump said Andrew is healing and called his family fantastic American Patriots.
