Hollywood couldn’t write a better script.

Oh, and a supporting cast that is an endless list of who’s who, that includes Dodgers Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Walker Buehler and the Yankees Giancarlo Stanton, Juan Soto and Gerrit Cole.

For such an enormous star-studded matchup, with everything on the line, the pregame festivities must live up to the hype to match.

Major League Baseball has to break out its finest bells and whistles, to match its stars on the field, with stars off of it, specifically when it comes to the national anthem.

Who will be singing the national anthem at this year’s World Series?

The World Series of course is not a singular event, such as the Super Bowl.

It is a best of seven series, so there could potentially be seven different artists who sing the national anthem before each game.

Or it could be a clean sweep and a tidy four, but given the talent of these two teams, it’s a pretty safe bet there won’t be a sweep.

The MLB has currently not announced who will be performing the national anthem for the first four games.

The first two games take place in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium, while the next two will take place in the Bronx, in New York City at Yankee Stadium.

There will be no shortage of options, seeing as every game will be taking place in either Los Angeles or New York City.

Who is performing in the World Series halftime show?

Silly question, as there is no halftime in baseball!

The closest thing to a ‘halftime’ in baseball is the seventh-inning stretch, which, you guessed it, takes place going into the bottom of the seventh.

That is when the whole stadium stands up to stretch, move around and of course, sing ‘Take Me Out to the Ball Game.’

While it’s nowhere near the glitz and glam of the Super Bowl halftime show, the seventh-inning stretch is a strong tradition in its’ own right.

It also has a much more intimate feel to it, than just watching someone perform at the fifty-yard line.

The list of performers will soon be announced as there is less than 48 hours before the first pitch in Game 1 between the Dodgers and Yankees.

The biggest World Series since the turn of the century.

Everything will be on the line for these two storied franchises, as they are battling one another in the Fall Classic for the first time since 1981.

The Dodgers and Yankees have supplied their own stars for the grand stage, now it’s up to MLB to match the talent for the national anthem.
