
The 2025 edition of the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup is winding down. And with just one night of game play remaining, the top spot in each conference is still up for grabs. The Atlanta Dream, Indiana Fever and New York Liberty all have a chance to earn a spot in the championship from the Eastern Conference, while the Minnesota Lynx and Seattle Storm could earn a spot in the championship from the Western Conference.
Commissioner’s Cup action will conclude Tuesday with a huge six-game slate, including a massive showdown between the Dream and Liberty.

Under a revamped format, each team will play every other team in their conference once during the initial Cup games which will take place June 1-17. Each Eastern Conference team will play five games while each Western Conference team will play six games due to the addition of the expansion Valkyries.
The team in each conference with the best record in the Cup games will advance to the Commissioner’s Cup championship on July 1 which will be hosted by the team with the best overall winning percentage in the Cup games. Once again, there will be a $500,000 prize pool on the line.
