Details have emerged about the upcoming Season 3 finale of The White Lotus and the hype keeps growing. The wellness-based White Lotus resort in Ko Samui is still hosting a fine group of rich people whose problems vary in nature, but throughout their stay they have faced hardships only the twisted mind of showrunner Mike White can come up with. There’s only one episode left, and it airs on Apr. 6. The episode is titled “Amor Fati,” and per recent reports, it will be longer than any other episode in the series.
As reported by Variety, the Season 3 finale of the HBO drama The White Lotus will have a runtime of nearly 90 minutes. It’s just a few minutes longer than the Season 2 finale, which has a running time of 78 minutes. The episode will be released per the usual schedule on HBO and Max, next Sunday at 9 pm ET/PT.

The 10 Most Unlikeable Characters in ‘The White Lotus’ (So Far), Ranked
‘The White Lotus’ serves as a scathing satire of the ultra-wealthy and overly-privileged, bringing to life some of the most loathsome characters.
Season 3 of The White Lotus stars Jason Isaacs, Carrie Coon, Walter Goggins, Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Leslie Bibb, Sarah Catherine Hook, Lalisa Manobal, and Tayme Thapthimthong, among many others. Natasha Rothwell and Jon Gries both reprise their roles from Season 1. Just like Season 1 and Season 2, all episodes in Season 3 of The White Lotus were written and directed by showrunner Mike White.
While the critical reception has waned when compared to its other two seasons, viewership numbers confirm that The White Lotus has become more popular than ever. The usual viewers are there every Sunday night to revisit the obnoxious rich people on their vacation overseas. However, Episodes 6 and 7 broke viewing records, and most likely, this record will again be broken next Sunday when the season finale airs.
Will ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 End With a Respective and Loud Bang?
On social media, fans have not been afraid to show their reaction to Season 3, and the notoriously slow dynamic that the show is running on this season. It appears that showrunner Mike White took very seriously the guidelines of the White Lotus resort in Thailand, and Season 3 has been somewhat more peaceful than previous entries. Sure, things have happened, but so far, nothing that could have jeopardized the trip of the colorful characters.
Season 3 needs to end with a huge bang. Episode 1 has already offered a glimpse into the mayhem that will be revealed next Sunday. Surely, the season finale will reveal whose body is floating in the river as shots are heard around the resort. Nevertheless, the finale shouldn’t only address this conclusion. It should also be about questions that we expect to be answered sooner rather than later.
These questions include: Will Timothy Ratliff “wake up” from the passive-like state his character took mid-season? Will Belinda accept the money that has been offered to her by the man whose finances remain a mystery? Will Rick Hatchett do something to appeal his need for catharsis? Will the incestuous relationship between the Ratliff siblings be explored any further? Too many questions that hopefully a 90-minute season finale will answer. If not, fans will just have to turn the page and begin waiting for the upcoming Season 4 of The White Lotus, which fortunately has already been approved.
