King’s Gambit
Slightly disappointing since being gelded but has gone close in his last two in listed and Group 3 company.
Ought to bounce back at some point soon though and the return to 1m2f is a plus.
Strike Red
Lethal Levi won this last year ahead of Silky Wilkie and Korker.
These three make way for some other dependable sprinters at this level, where 25 compete, in which a high draw does seem to get more success.
Montassib
Incredibly consistent 6f sprinter and is very interesting making his seasonal debut at 5f, having never taken this on before.
He’s got a dangerous weight here to strike and doesn’t mind slower ground either, while the freshness might also be a positive rather than a negative.
