TOWIE star Lauren Goodger is on a fierce mission to shed pounds this year – and it’s not via weight loss injections.
The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren is determined to shape up and has started the new year with a brutal 23-hour fast.
The 39-year-old told followers on social media: “Just completed 23 hour fast. My first meal,” alongside a photo of her long-awaited pre-detox dinner.
“Tuna, red onion and sweet potato. (Wish I had some rocket).”
She added: “Ps. I am not a GP or nutritionist. Please don’t copy without your own knowledge and advice, thanks.”
Over the years, the busy mum has been vocal about her weight loss journey.

The TV personality has been open about her struggles with her weight and shedding the pounds after pregnancy and ‘ordering takeaways’ for convenience.
Last year, she revealed she wanted to lose 4st and was ‘feeling the pressure’ to go on weight-loss injections.
The former Dancing on Ice 2021 star revealed that although she was ‘heavier’ than she’d like to be, she wanted to lose the weight naturally.
Reality star Lauren sparked concern in 2018 by going on a controversial juice retreat where she managed to lose over a stone in just 21 days.
While many were really impressed with her weight loss, others were concerned about the method she used after revealing her dramatic weight loss.
Lauren told fans at the time that the diet was about ‘more than her appearance’ and how it had also ‘helped with her anxiety’.
The star is set to undergo breast reduction surgery after admitting she ‘regrets’ having heavier implants.
The Celeb BB star, who shot to fame on the first series of The Only Way Is Essex in 2010, has always been very open about the surgery she’s had done.
She has previously spoken about having a Brazilian Bum Lift in 2017, which followed her boob job in 2014, taking her from 34D to an E.
Over the years she has also admitted to having “tweakments” like Botox and fillers.
But despite spending thousands to enhance her looks, Lauren has admitted she wants to go back to a more “natural look”.
Lauren has a daughter called Larose and devastatingly lost her second child Lorena who died just minutes after childbirth in 2022.
The OG reality star dated Mark Wright during her time on the show, but the pair officially split up in 2016.
After Towie she competed in the eighth series of Dancing On Ice.
Lauren also starred in Celebrity Big Brother in 2014 and was the seventh housemate of the series to be evicted.
