After dominating streaming with Netflix’s Back in Action in 2025, Jamie Foxx has found his next big action project.
According to Deadline, Jamie Foxx is set to star in Deadlocked, a new action thriller from Amazon MGM Studios confirmed to exclusively stream on Prime Video. The upcoming film follows Foxx as a “grieving former Marine serving jury duty who is forced back into action when the trial of the century turns into a deadly hostage situation as the defendant’s daughter seizes the courthouse to free her father.” It is set to be directed by Nikhil Bhat, the filmmaker behind the critically acclaimed 2023 action thriller Kill.
