England can secure a series win over India today as they face off at Old Trafford in their fourth Test of the summer, live on talkSPORT.
Ben Stokes’ side fought through a fiery few days of action in the third Test to secure a nail-biting win and claim a 2-1 lead.Â

There were many flashpoints and clashes between the two teams throughout, but it was the home team that managed to come out on top.Â
It means that heading into this penultimate Test of the series, Brendon McCullum’s men need one more win to seal victory.Â
And they have made a great start to the Fourth Test, bowling India out for 358 before reaching 225-2 at stumps on Thursday.
Then on Friday, they reached stumps at 544-7, with Joe Root moving up to second on the all-time list of Test run scorers.
The home side ended up on 669 – the highest score a team has ever racked up in one innings at Old Trafford before leaving India 0-2.
However, Shubman Gill and KL Rahul put on a stand of over 50 overs that looked as if it was going to frustrate England until Stokes got Rahul for 90.
Gill then reached 103 before Jofra Archer induced an edge, and Jamie Smith did the rest.
England now need six wickets in the final two sessions to claim the series, while India will look to bat out a draw.

England vs India: What has been said?
England openers Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett put on 166 runs for the first wicket in their first innings to put the home side in a strong position.
He said:Â “We’re in a good place, I’m very happy.
“I’m happy with the way I played, obviously you always want more. It was great batting with Ben Duckett out there and putting some pressure on them.
“We’re very happy, it looks like the pitch is going to get worse and worse we just want to bat well and get a lead.
“It’s going to be tricky in the fourth innings, it’s going to be tricky for them as well. It would be nice to get a lead tomorrow.
“I felt much more relaxed out there and put myself in a good headspace.
“I love batting with Ducky [Ben Duckett], he’s a phenomenal player and we have a laugh out there but also, we’re talking about the game. I really enjoying batting with him.”
