Experience Turks and Caicos has officially welcomed the Honourable Zhavargo Jolly as the new Minister of Tourism, Agriculture, Fisheries, and the Environment for the Turks and Caicos Islands. His appointment follows the General Elections held on February 7, 2025, in which the Progressive National Party (PNP) secured a decisive victory.
Hon. Jolly was sworn into Cabinet on February 12, 2025, bringing with him extensive expertise in finance, business strategy, and economic development. A seasoned entrepreneur and financial expert, he is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening and expanding the tourism industry, ensuring that local communities benefit from the sector’s continued growth.

Before entering politics, Hon. Jolly served as Managing Director of Turks and Caicos Islands Capital, a private investment and lending firm that supported economic development in the region. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Hon. Jolly later earned an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, further refining his leadership and strategic planning skills. Additionally, he served in the Turks and Caicos Islands Marine Regiment, where he was recognized with the Governor’s Award for Outstanding Recruit, demonstrating his dedication to national service.
