Jungle Monarch
Trainer Karl Burke is on an incredible run in the last six runs let alone the last couple of weeks.
He’s won five and placed 2nd another across Hamilton, Deauville, Ripon, Catterick and Pontefract.
His horse Jungle Monarch is the rightful favourite here too, joint with Mission Classified.
The two-year-old has placed second following a disappointing debut, but now after being gelded should be able to be more efficient in these sprints.
Paddy The Squire
Won on seasonal debut before being upped another 2lb for his second place last time out at a tough Haydock Class 2 handicap last month.
Had plenty of time off since then to return fresh and that run prior showed he will ought to go well upped to 1m4f.
Plage De Havre won that race by four lengths but Paddy The Squire also finished well ahead of the other 12 horses.
That winner was upped 9lb for that victory so Paddy The Squire should make some progress here.
Beny Nahar
Was quite notable at Newcastle on debut at Newcastle on the all-weather just a couple of weeks ago.
Now has Oisin Murphy on board who could be after a multi-win day.
Stayed 7f well and that experience and form looks solid heading here.
Murphy can also be the difference as he’s been riding incredibly well, winning 15 of 53 rides in the last two weeks, very encouraging and good value.
