Heartbreaking videos shared by the sister of murdered student Henry Nowak have revealed the close bond the pair shared before his death at the age of 18.
Olivia Nowak has posted a series of emotional tributes on social media in the months since her younger brother was killed, describing him as “forever 18” and telling followers she would “miss and love you forever”.
The posts have attracted attention following the sentencing of Vickrum Digwa, who was jailed for life this week with a minimum term of 21 years for Henry’s murder.
One tribute, posted 10 days after Henry’s death in December 2025, is set to Coldplay’s song “Yellow” and carries the caption: “forever 18 brother x”.
The montage features clips of Henry enjoying family life, dancing at celebrations and spending time with loved ones. In several scenes, he is seen laughing and dancing alongside Olivia in their family home in Chafford Hundred, Essex.
Henry, one of four siblings, later moved to Southampton to begin his studies at the University of Southampton.
The footage also includes moments from the Morrisons store where both siblings worked part-time, showing the pair sharing light-hearted moments during their shifts.
Alongside the happier memories are images of flowers and tributes left in the aftermath of Henry’s death.
A second video contains photographs of the brother and sister together, including one image showing them holding hands and another taken during a family holiday.
Olivia accompanied the post with the words: “Never felt pain like this. Forever my best friend. Fly high my angel brother.”
The tribute is set to Bruno Mars’ song “Talking To The Moon”, which reflects on missing someone who is no longer present.
The depth of the siblings’ relationship was also evident during Digwa’s sentencing hearing, when Olivia delivered a moving victim impact statement.

Addressing the defendant directly, she said: “If you had known Henry, you would never have hurt him.”
She added: “My brother had my whole heart. He was a part of me, and I lost a part of myself when he died.”
Speaking about the years ahead without him, Olivia said: “The real pain is knowing that I’m going to miss you for longer than I got to enjoy life with you. My brother didn’t deserve to be forever 18.”
She also described Henry as her “first best friend from the day he was born”.
Henry, a first-year university student, was stabbed six times by Digwa, who falsely claimed he had been racially abused and attacked.
The court heard Digwa used an eight-inch ceremonial Sikh sword during the attack.
Following the case, Hampshire Police Chief Constable Alexis Boon apologised to Henry’s family after officers handcuffed and arrested the teenager as he lay fatally injured.
An inquest into Henry’s death is expected to examine a range of issues surrounding the circumstances of the incident, including whether police actions may have caused or contributed to his death, Hampshire area coroner Jason Pegg has said.
The case has prompted wider political debate, with Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch meeting members of Henry’s family. The family also held a private meeting with the Prime Minister on Thursday.
