The U.S. Supreme Court hears oral arguments in Bondi v. Lau (25-429) to decide whether the government must possess “clear and convincing evidence” of a disqualifying crime at the exact moment a lawful permanent resident reenters the country to treat them as an “applicant for admission” and initiate removal proceedings.
