A residential area has been put on lockdown following reports of a “suspected dangerous object”. Swedish police said on Thursday morning that a suspected dangerous object was found outside a property in the town of Skillingsgatan.
The message, addressing people living within a 500-metre radius of the concerning object, read: “Suspected dangerous object found outside a residence on Skillingsgatan. People in the vicinity are asked to stay indoors and away from doors and windows.”
Police noted a school is also in the proximity of the suspected dangerous object, adding officers had contacted school’s officials to “keep all students indoors until further notice”.
