By combining increased flight frequencies with an expanded domestic codeshare network, Qatar Airways and WestJet aim to offer travellers more flexibility when planning journeys between Canada and international markets.

What Travellers Should Know About the New Codeshare Agreement

Passengers planning to use the new Qatar Airways–WestJet codeshare should check the availability of eligible connecting flights when making reservations.

Although the agreement allows Qatar Airways to market selected WestJet-operated services under its QR code, travellers should confirm baggage allowances, ticket conditions, connection requirements and operating-carrier information before departure.

The partnership expands the airlines’ commercial networks, but specific booking options and connecting itineraries will depend on flight schedules and codeshare availability.
