On the day Andrew stepped down amid scrutiny over his ties to the convicted pedophile, Epstein emailed an associate: “I assume he knows that this is Charles’ doing,” in response to coverage referencing “PA.” Another message from Epstein stated: “I’m sure this is good for him, he will now be free.”
Epstein also forwarded a news article to Ghislaine Maxwell about the resignation; when she asked “why?,” he replied: “I think he wants to make money.” The emails surfaced in the US Department of Justice’s release of three million Epstein-linked documents, as reported by Sky News. This revelation comes amid Andrew’s recent arrest on February 19 for suspected misconduct in public office related to sharing sensitive information with Epstein during his envoy tenure.
