The Duchess of Sussex sharing previously unseen photos of her wedding day will be viewed as “another crafty marketing strike”, it is claimed. Meghan released 24 images to mark her and Prince Harry’s eight-year anniversary, revealing new details about their big day on May 19, 2018.
The snaps included a shot of Harry dancing and grinning, the ceremony itself and a performance from Sir Elton John. The Daily Mail reports there is a hidden message behind the photos, which did include any shots of Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, best man Prince William or the bridesmaids.
Columnist Jan Moir wrote in newspaper: “If the aim of this puzzling, uncharacteristic, wholly invasive picture dump is to underline Harry and Meghan’s beatific partnership, it only does so by emphasising the vacuum at the heart of their lives. The lack of family harmony and unity is wordlessly laid bare – but perhaps that is what it was all meant to do. “
