Spring Hotels is upgrading the Tenerife Starmus VIII Festival experience as the Official Event Accommodation Partner for premium hotel stays in 2026. Attendees will have access to exclusive benefits and special hotel stays for this prestigious gathering focused on science, space and creativity.

Scheduled from 17 to 22 October 2026 across Tenerife and La Palma, Starmus VIII will unite more than 40 leading figures from science, space exploration, music and the arts under the theme “The Search for the Truth.” The prestigious event will feature Nobel Prize winners, astronauts, researchers, visionaries and globally recognised artists, including Starmus co-founder Brian May, neuroscientist and Nobel Laureate May-Britt Moser, astronaut and engineer Julie Payette, Artemis II astronaut Jeremy Hansen and astronaut Victor J. Glover.

Spring Hotels will play a central role throughout the six-day celebration, with the main conference programme and the highly anticipated Star Party hosted at Piramide de Arona, located within the group’s Mare Nostrum Resort in Playa de Las Americas. The venue will serve as a key gathering point for participants attending one of the world’s most unique celebrations of science, discovery and creativity.

The wider Starmus VIII programme will extend across the Canary Islands, combining scientific innovation, human exploration, music and artistic expression. The festival will begin with the Opening Concert and Medals Ceremony in Santa Cruz de Tenerife before concluding with the Space Station Earth closing concert in La Palma.

With Mount Teide offering one of the best spots in the world for stargazing, it has always been popular with those looking to explore the skies at night, and we’re now seeing guests increasingly looking for astrotourism experiences that add another dimension to their holiday.
