The more than 1,000-page House budget bill makes President Donald Trump’s 2017 tax cuts permanent, eliminates tax on tips, raises the nation’s debt limit by $4 trillion, and boosts funding for the Pentagon and to help Trump carry out his immigration plans. However, the road ahead is all but smooth. Several Republican senators are opposed to the House bill in its current form.
