The “Kissing bug” disease, also known as Chagas disease, is now considered an endemic illness in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Chagas disease is a parasitic condition spread by the bloodsucking “kissing bug”, so named because it often bites people’s faces.
