A diversion is currently in place following the closure of the M11 southbound in Cambridgeshire, which is shut between Junction 14 (Girton) and Junction 12 (Grantchester, Cambridge) due to a collision involving three cars and a van.
National Highways said to follow the route marked with a solid diamond symbol on local road signs:
From M11/A14 Girton Interchange exit slip road onto the A14 east.
Continue along the A14 passing through the A14/B1049 Interchange and A14/A10/A1309 Interchange, towards the A14/A1303 Stowcum Quy Interchange.
At the interchange take the first exit onto the A1303, Newmarket.
Continue on the A1303 towards Newmarket and the A1303/A1304 Stetchworth Toll rbt
At the rbt take the fourth exit onto the A1304 southwest for the M11.
Continue on the A1304, London Road, through Six Mile Bottom and merge onto the A11.
Continue on the A11, and rejoin the M11 at J9A.
