The extent of Sarah Ferguson’s bizarre relationship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein has been laid bare in a new batch of emails. The former Duchess of York’s communications with Epstein have featured alongside those of her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, in the latest tranche of files released by the US Department of Justice (DoJ).
In one exchange from 2010, she tells the disgraced financier: “I am at your service. Just marry me.”
Elsewhere, she labels him “the brother I have always wished for” and accuses him of not telling her he had a baby and only being friends with her “to get to Andrew”. Andrew, as well as making numerous appearances in the more than three million pages published on Friday, has also faced fresh allegations of having a sexual encounter with a woman who claimed to have been sent to the UK by Epstein.
The former prince, who was stripped of his titles last year, has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
