
As the Iranian regime tries to weaponize the flow of energy through the Strait of Hormuz, a congressman is proposing a bill to strengthen energy trade between the United States and Taiwan, specifically with LNG, or liquefied natural gas.
The self-governing island relies heavily on imported fuel, with its state-owned energy company saying about a third of its oil and LNG came from the Middle East last year.
