REALITY TV star Kim Kardashian has paid a $50,000 bail to set free a death row inmate accused of murder.
The billionaire businesswoman and wannabe lawyer backed Richard Glossip, 63, to leave jail for the first time in decades as he awaits a new trial.
Glossip has narrowly avoided the death penalty being carried out three times — once due to a last-minute mix-up with the drugs meant to kill him.
In 1998, he was convicted of offering to pay a colleague, Justin Sneed, 48, to murder their boss, motel owner Barry Van Treese.
Sneed confessed to the baseball bat killing, in Oklahoma, US, with Glossip convicted mainly on his evidence.
Last year, the Supreme Court ruled prosecutors had allowed false testimony at the trial and his conviction was overturned pending a retrial.

Glossip, who has been given a last meal three times before his planned executions were ditched, walked free from Oklahoma County Detention Centre last week.
His bond was set at $500,000 (£375,136), with Kim handing over the $50,000 (£37,513) deposit needed for his release.
Mum-of-four Kim, who is dating British F1 ace Sir Lewis Hamilton, is training to be a lawyer.
She failed her bar exam last year but plans to retake it when her work schedule allows.
Her publicist said she had been working on Richard’s case since 2013.
Glossip, reunited with wife Lea on leaving jail, said: “I’m just thankful for my wife and my attorneys. I’m just happy.”
Film producer Scott Budnick, a Glossip supporter, wrote online: “Well, he has to be released on bail, that was GRACIOUSLY paid for immediately by @kimkardashian who’s been fighting for Rich’s freedom for years.”
