Andy Farrell’s Lions take on Joe Schmidt’s Wallabies as the best of Britain and Ireland head Down Under.

The Lions squad will be announced on Thursday (May 8) and talkSPORT will be live at the O2 bringing you all the news, interviews and reaction.

Australian Jones previously spent seven years as England head coach between 2015 and 2022.

During that time, he won the Six Nations three times, including a Grand Slam in 2016.

Jones also guided England to the final of the 2019 Rugby World Cup where they were beaten by South Africa.

The 65-year-old is now in his second spell in charge of Japan, having also returned to coach his native Australia again in 2023.

His extensive knowledge of Australian rugby goes back further too having first coached their national team between 2001 and 2005.

His Australia A side also beat the Lions 28-25 on the 2001 tour, which was the only team to beat the tourists on that trip besides the Wallabies.

You can listen to Jones and a host of other top names as talkSPORT will be at the centre of the action from June 28 to August 2, 2025, bringing listeners every game of the series, which will be made up of three Test matches and six pre-Test matches.

It’s the fourth British & Irish Lions tour talkSPORT have covered exclusively, building on the success of broadcasts from Australia (2013), New Zealand (2017) and South Africa (2021).
