Critics have delivered their verdict on Rian Johnson’s Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery ahead of the film’s highly anticipated theatrical release and Netflix debut, and so far, all signs point to it being another killer entry in the popular murder mystery franchise. The third Benoit Blanc whodunit, starring Daniel Craig as the renowned detective, will receive a limited theatrical release for two weeks, starting from Nov. 26, 2025, before being made available to stream on Netflix on Dec. 12, 2025. Anyone contemplating whether to buy a theater ticket or add the movie to their watchlist might feel more confident after seeing its Rotten Tomatoes score.
