Ford Motor Company is expected to showcase a new electric vehicle on Monday. The carmaker’s CEO has called it a “Model T moment,” referring to the company’s 1908 Model T car, which fundamentally changed both transportation and society by making cars affordable for the masses.
Ford is also pivoting back to an emphasis on gasoline-powered cars in a move some anticipate could redefine the auto industry.
