Meghan Markle is said to have been caught off guard ahead of Prince Harry’s expected visit to the UK. It is up in the air as to whether the King’s second son will bring with him his wife and children, Archie and Lilibet, due to security concerns, it has been reported. It is thought that the King had offered accommodation on a royal estate. If his grandchildren were to accompany Harry and a meeting with the monarch were agreed, it would be the first time the monarch has seen them since the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.
Now, author Rob Shutter claimed that an insider told him that Meghanwas caught off guard by the chilly reaction to reports of a possible UK visit”. He added: “Rather than being welcomed as a step toward reconciliation, the news sparked as much criticism as excitement.” The expert also suggested that Queen Camilla is “absolutely insisting that this big reunion between the King and his son, she’s going to be there for it because she’s frightened her husband will literally give away the family store”.
The Queen “is determined to make sure that Harry and Meghan don’t get everything they want without certain guarantees, including no more books and no more interviews with Oprah”, Mr Shutter said, according to Geo News.
