Dumfries, Galloway, Lothian and Borders are expected to be bright, especially towards the east coast, with sunny spells and scattered blustery showers in the morning on Wednesday, December 10, the Met Office said.
It will become cloudier in the afternoon with showers gradually dying out.
Strong southwesterly winds with coastal gales are expected.
A maximum temperature 10C has been forecast.
