There are at least two confirmed deaths due to an aircraft collision in Arizona on Feb. 19.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are responding to the crash, as well as local law enforcement.
The crash took place near the Marana Regional Airport in Marana, Arizona—about 20 miles northwest of Tucson—and details about the crash are limited at this time.
The NTSB announced on social media that the crash took place in midair and that the agency was responding. NTSB confirmed that the crash involved a Cessna 172S and a Lancair 360 MK II, which are small, single-engine aircraft that seat four and two individuals, respectively.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
