On his Instagram account with 4.3 millions followers he posted the injury showing a bruised and red back.
He captioned the video: “I broke my back! – Mike Tyson.”
A call back to Tyson’s 49 second KO win against Clifford Etienne in 2003.
In typical fashion a thumping right hand sent his opponent into a different realm, folding Etienne into the canvas.

After the fight he told the crowd: “I broke my back. My back is broken.”
The incident he referred to was still caused by issues he had sustained from a high-speed motorbike accident, which had seen him have surgery in 1997.
“[It was] spinal,” he continued. “I broke my back. I don’t even know how I’m standing. It’s a miracle.
“The doctor took me to the pain centre and I wasn’t supposed to fight, but what am I supposed to do. I’m going to take care of my family.”
He remained in high spirits despite the injury, joking, ‘no weights were injured in the making of this video’.
And with fans concerned about his shoulder, he posted an image of his reddened back.

“I’m thankfully fine! Thanks for all the messages,” he said.
The 36-year-old promised to make history again this month at the annual Arnold Strongman Classic show.
An event he won three successive times from 2018 to 2020.
He will attempt to deadlift 501kg, surpassing his personal record of 474kg, which would earn him $100,000 (£79,317).
Another amazing achievement to add alongside his first place at the 2018 World’s Strongest Man competition and five European titles.

Thor is not just one of the world’s strongest men, he also appeared on TV show Game of Thrones for multiple seasons playing Gregor ‘The Mountain’ Clegane.
A role well suited to the man standing at 6ft9in.
Since then he also dipped his toes into the world of combat sports.
His feud with fellow strongman Eddie Hall saw the pair enter the ring in 2022 with Bjornsson winning by unanimous decision.
