1.50: Look To The Stars 7/2 (1pt)

Damysus
Hot favourite for the Group 3 Darley Stakes and I can only see this Frankel colt get more money late on ahead of the off on Saturday afternoon.
John & Thady Gosden have been having a great season with some powerful runners and this Wathnan Racing-owned star is set to be another.
The three-year-old has won twice from five runs now going on to win well at Deauville in August.
Was set for a race in the Arc meeting at Longchamp in the Group 2 Prix Dollar but was a non-runner, potentially for the ground.
And finds this very winnable race instead rated well and still has more to show of his potential as well.
Look To The Stars
Prefer this horse to the Aidan O’Brien chance and favourite Endorsement.
It’s another two-year-old race meaning there could be some dramatic improvement from a few of these.
But Look To The Stars represents a chance for the Newmarket duo, William Buick and Charlie Appleby.
They often enjoy success here and this Galiway gelding looks very interesting upped in trip.
He was gelded in August and bounced back with two solid wins including a big win at Newbury last time out beating the likes of Goodwood Galaxy, Tierra Del Toro and Bourbon Blues to suggest he’s well-weighted to strike in this contest.
Gstaad
While Distant Storm appeals a lot, for his emphatic victory last time and his pricetag being 1.9m gns I still really like Gstaad.
I think he will love Newmarket and has only been beaten by two top horses, both by fractional margins.
Last time out he was beaten by a head by Zavateri, on his first start over 7f and will likely settle into this race better than at the Curragh.
He’s set the standard as a two-year-old, winning the Coventry at Royal Ascot last year and can finally get his well-deserved third win of his career.
Reverend Hubert
You’ve got to have a punt on the Cesarewitch Handicap and one that really appeals to me in a race where weight may be a bit thrown off this year as Hipop De Loire comes in at a big rating of 106, is Reverend Hubert.
The seven-year-old is a solid price, with jockey Silvestre De Sousa in fine form.
He was upped 10lb for winning here last month and that shouldn’t stop him from showing his stamina again as the Trial victory was won by a staggering eight lengths.
It’s hard to ignore this horse and trainer Charles Byrnes only ever sends out top horses to Britain.
Byrnes has a 36% strike-rate in the last five years in Britain on the flat, with only 11 runners in that time but as many as four winners including Run For Oscar who placed fourth in this last year.
The Kemble Brewery
Tintintin doesn’t inspire much hope for me at 7/2 given his form when running fresh, not least for the chase debut these horses face.
The Kemble Brewery is very interesting on return after pulling up in the Grade 3 Handicap Hurdle at Sandown.
He went for a wind op a month after so clearly there was something amiss there, either that or the step up in both trip and class was just too much for him.
His form behind Meetmebythesea is still an encouraging one too and could be well-weighted even off this high mark on chase debut.
Ben Solo won at this course when making his seasonal debut last year for the return of the jumps, but would need to step it up over fences to beat the favourite.
