Prince Harry will likely “never be happy” due to one major reason, according to one royal expert. According to royal expert Emily Andrews, the 41-year-old appears to look like “a man without a purpose”.
Harry stepped down from royal life in 2020 and, alongside his wife, Meghan Markle, and young son, moved to the US to begin a new life. The couple later welcomed their second child a year after their move.
There have been reports that Harry misses his life back in the UK, although he has admitted to enjoying raising his two children in the US.
According to Ms Andrews’ recent article for Woman & Home, she wrote: “I thought it was instrumental that when he was visiting last month, he appeared on Joe Marler’s podcast and gave his occupation as ‘Full-time dad. British Army veteran. Prince of England. Duke.”
She added: “We’ll leave aside the historical inaccuracy (there’s been no Prince or indeed King of England since the United Kingdom union in 1707), but it’s the apparent yearning that gets me. He doesn’t seem to know who or what he is.”
Sharing why she believes he will never truly find happiness, she added, “So is he happy? I don’t think he truly is – but the sadness for Harry is that he’s searching for something he’s not going to find.
“So I’m not sure he ever will be.”
Speaking previously about the royal, royal historian Hugo Vickers told the Mirror: “Obviously, there’s a lot of pressure when you’re a royal.
“But I think when it comes to choosing the path of duty or the path of perceived happiness, the path of duty will light the way to happiness, and Harry seems a lot less fulfilled since choosing the path of perceived happiness to be with Meghan.”
The couple live in a multi-million-pound mansion in the town of Montecito.
